This player was seen as a can't miss star during college, but has been less successful since the move to pro-ball. Scouts attribute the loss of offensive production to the switch to wood bats. In Teller's own words, "The explosion of the ball off a metal bat just isn't there with these tree splinters." He continues to lobby for introduction of metal bats into the professional ranks.
