If you'd like to promote to the next available tier for the upcoming season, post a link to your team's page here. Bear in mind that you must have renewed your team for next season, and have the upgrades required for that level. So, if you'd like to move from D to C, you'll need to have bronze upgrades (level 1) for Financial, Fitness, Charity, and Celebrity. For C to B you'll need silver, for B to A, gold, and for A to WBL you'll need platinum.

We're putting the finishing touches on the new contract system now. Not only will multi-season contracts be back, but managing your team's salaries within the league cap will be much, much easier. What's more, players will receive unique bonuses based on what kind of contract they get. We're really excited about the new contract system, and we think you'll like the improvements.

Oh, as those of you know in the US, today is a national holiday, and in honor of that holiday we've decided to send out an influence gift to our active users, US or not. As always, thanks for your continued support, and we hope to see you in season 15!

we are also looking forward to the day TIer A has an opening day cap of level 40 for players to encourage more Tier A teams and high level players to move up to the WBL

since the O's stay together as a team our players will start out up to 20 levels under the Tier A teams that fail to promote to the WBL, and will never "catch up" in playing level if lev 40+ players are never picked up by a team in the WBL

the only mitigating factor is when player age finally kicks and those lev 65 players in Tier A need to get a walking cane to get to first base

Some tier A teams cannot promote as they already have a WBL team and according to the rules you can only have one team per tier. Their is no capp on tier A for that reason. I play in that league and dont care if i win or lose as its only a game.

First your player's skills are converted from raw skill points to the basic ESR. After that is the age penalty, then the moxie bonus/penalty, then any gamechanger bonus that just applies an unconditional bonus, and then the team intangibles bonus. Those remain constant for the duration of the series. The OOP penalty is applied at the start of each game, the handedness and focus bonus/penalty is calculated during each at bat, and situational gamechanger effects are factored in as the situation arises.

So while age will bring you down, moxie and all of the other effects can counteract it to some degree. At some point we're going to introduce a "Tommy John Surgery" type gamechanger card.
