It's that time again. It's time for our annual influence sale to celebrate the start of baseball season. You can head on over to the influence page where a selection of influence packages are on sale. We'll keep the sale running for about a week.

It's also time that we take a moment to appreciate how it is we got this far, and to show our thanks to those who have stuck by us through beta, even alpha, and have been the motivation behind why we keep doing this. Without you, none of this would be possible. Hell, without all of you, I couldn't proudly tell people that I'm a video game programmer. For every bit as challenging as it is, it's equally rewarding, and I think few people can really say that about their jobs.

So if you've logged in within the last 30 days, have 100 points and a free player on the house. With your help we'll continue to develop 2OR into the game it was meant to be.

First i like to say thanks its very generous of the Admins.


Secondly a question, i still had the Free player from a previous generous offer the Admins did will there be two slots of free players on my home page or will it be with the same one slot and only one free player? I ask this because right now theres only one slot that apears in my home page when it should be two?

Theres not big deal with this just would like to know.

I asked this a while back and this is the answer I received from a moderator:

The most reliable way to get free influence is referrals, at 50 influence per referral (max 15 per season). If your friends aren't into baseball you could try sticking your referral link in your sig on other forums, etc. You get 200 influence if an article you write is chosen for the scoop, and 100 if one of your player bios is chosen for the front page. You don't get any influence from winning the playoffs. There's also a special thread that comes up every season or so in the League Headquarters, and you can post in it for the chance to win influence or gamechangers.
