The Chelan Goats have dominated the Tier C-1 Red League. The last two seasons the goats were pathetic, only going 64-98 both years. This season has been the complete opposite. With one sim to go in the regular season, the Goats have not only won more games than any other team in the league, but the won more games than they won in the last 2 years combined. Right now the Goats are 133-27. That is 106 games over .500 and also 69 wins better than last season. The big turn around was due to better training of the players and coaches.

Chelan coming into this season was chosen to finish with the same record as before with only 65 wins. Instead, they impressed the league with 133 wins. Each batter on the team has 10+ homeruns (HR) and 90+ Runs Batted In (RBI). All 5 starting pitchers have won 20+ Games.

The Chelan Goats will be the number 1 seed in The C1 Red League for the playoffs and Number 2 overall, behind the C1 Blue League Number 1 seed Harlem Highlanders. This will be the first ever playoff for the Goats, who hope to appear in the finals against the Highlanders.

The Goats, whom have asked for a promotion to Tier B for next season, have said that this team could have one of the best turn arounds in baseball history by wining more than double their games than they did a year ago.

The Goats have also decided on their awards for the season. Team MVP Kelly Leak. Kelly had over 100 more hits and RBIs than he did last season. Team Cy Young goes to Henry Rowengartner who has a 26-3 record. The 26 wins in 2nd most in the Tier C. Team Base Leader goes to Willy Mays Hayes. He stole the most bases on the team with 80 and is 5th overall in Tier C. He Also had 308 hits and have batted over .380 in each of his 4 seasons. The Goats team leader goes to Catcher Crash David. Crash runs the field, calls the pitches and sets the defense and everyone listens to him and gives him no crud.

Other Notes of the Franchise : Tier A team Seattle White Tigers manager Fast Freddy has been choosen as the Seattle Cougars Affiliate Manager of the year. He in his first year as a manager has won 96 games. He has done a very good job in his role as manager.

Great series and congrats on the championship. Highlanders won the first 3 games straight then the Goats came all the way back winning 4 straight to seal the championship! Awesome series guys.
