The bug has been fixed, the clock has been rolled back, and the semifinals will be played Thursday 00:00:00 CST. this means the start of season 15 has been pushed back to Saturday, June 9th. If your team was one of the ones that legitimately made it through the playoffs last time, we're sorry, but more match-ups were affected than were not, and the only way to fix the problem (and keep my head off of a pike at the front gate) was to start again.

Due to extended season and that season is going to be delayed. I think all teams should be comped for down time. Due to a glitch and causing the longer playoff time. Since many teams who didnt make the playoffs having to wait longer to get to the next season. Since really we have nothing to do at this time. But i do like the playoff repeat.

when you say the "bug" is fixed I hope you mean both the "wrong team fails to advance" bug AND the custom "gambit rules are not followed" bug

i also guess this will nullify the story i wrote about the Wolverine / Thunder Pig Series that i spent a good deal of time writing, since the sims will sure not be the same as i had written. Oh well. Like i said its only a game and i enjoy playing.

Could always retcon the story as some SI "What-If" feature and reframe it that way!

although the playoffs were re-run starting with the division championships, only the series outcome error was fixed. unlike the case for the 160 games of the regular season custom gambits still were ignored in both this reboot of the playoffs and during the first attempt at playoffs

if this reboot of the playoff is allowed to stand all the teams during the entire next season will have wonder if their custom gambits will stop working again during next season's playoffs. making all teams less likely to want to be in the playoffs. if it was possible to put a team on hold and not lose all its improvements that is certainly the stance I would currently adopt for next season. or I could just suit up all cpu players and ignore the cost of 400 IP
