Im a Jays fan and i have many favorits but im surprised no one mentionned babe ruth. he gets my vote. as for actives its roy halliday.

Umm im a big Astros fan and a big pitching fan so Id go with Nolan Ryan and yes I know he played for other teams and also Roger clemens Johnny bench is also a very historical favorite
